I’m able to administer oral medications and, if you show me how and where, I can also give subcutaneous injections. However, I’m not legally permitted to administer IV, IM, or other similar injections.

If your pet requires medication during their stay, please provide enough to last for the entire booking. I do keep a pet first-aid kit on hand, but it only contains basic supplies such as emergency care items, styptic powder, and a few other essentials.

To ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all pets in our care, we do not offer in-person visits. Many of our boarding guests may be elderly, nervous, or have additional care needs, and limiting unfamiliar visitors helps us maintain a calm and stress-free environment.

In addition, our home insurance policy only provides cover for pet collections and drop-offs at the doorstep.

We also have strict biosecurity measures in place to help protect against serious diseases such as VHD (Viral Haemorrhagic Disease) and Myxomatosis. These diseases can be carried into an environment on clothing, footwear, and other items. While vaccination provides important protection, it is not 100% effective, so we take additional precautions to minimise risk.

To maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene, only the two permanent residents of the household enter and leave the boarding areas. This controlled approach helps us protect the health of every animal in our care and allows us to continue operating safely.

For those who would like to see our facilities before booking, we offer video calls for £10. This helps ensure that appointments are reserved for genuine enquiries while giving you the opportunity to view the accommodation, ask questions, and discuss your pet's individual needs. The fee covers our time and helps us continue providing a high standard of care to all animals staying with us.
